The cover is a medium close up of the artist posing pulling her hair back so her whole face is shown. Its a sensual pose which is typical of Beyonce as she always dresses provocatively in her videos and has a certain image. This cover may seem quite plain but it is striking to its audience as the artist is the main focus, there is no background to take any focus off Beyonce so you immediately just see her face.
